&lt;p&gt;Without being intimately familiar with the XIAO board myself, this definitely sounds doable, but if you do set the&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;CONFIG_GPIO_AS_PINRESET=n, you will most likely also disable the bootloader function, but you should probably ask &lt;a href="https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/knowledgebase/"&gt;seeed &lt;/a&gt;about that either in their tech support forum or the Discord.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
