No, you need the nRF5340DK or a J-LINK supporting M33 core.

I have the PCA64142, which is included in the box. Is it possible to do it with that debug board?

What debug board are you using? I suggest you use the nRF5340DK with a JTAG 10-pin cable, something like this:

Hello Amanda. Thank you for your reply. I attached the debug board now, and indeed I get a new Serial Port, from which I can see what I transmit from the Phone to the Board. But, I cannot transmit from the board to a board.

However, I am not sure that I did attach the USB-UART converter properly. I attached The RX to P6-08, TX to P6-09, and GND to GND. Is that correct or am I missing something?

The versions of the toolchain and SDK are not consistent. I would suggest you use the same version to work.

The latest version of NCS is v2.9.1 if it's possible for you.

Did you attach the debug board (nRF5340DK) and connect an external USB to UART converter as the doc?

If you attach the debug board, it would show the second serial port for transmission.
