Hi I am using wireshark 1.10.6, when press 'w' wireshark started but it is not capturing packets. even I select my device then also facing same problem. I waited for some time and then wireshark popup this error.
The capture session on "\.\pipe\wireshark_nordic_ble" timed out during pipe open: The semaphore timeout period has expired.(error 121) Is there any wrong or extra settings I need to do? details of system I am using windows 10pro x64 sniffer hardware nRF51 dongle 10031 peripheral device nRF51 Dk 10028

before you start wireshark("w") you should select your device by typing your device number in the list

Hi, I am using wireshark 1.10.14, after first use sniffer tool, sniffer tool automatically install wireshark plugin for me, then I fine my device and press "w", but there're no packet being recorded.

Are there anything wrong? Can u help me? Thx alot. Cold.

The BLE Sniffer does not support Wireshark 2 yet. I recommend you to use Wireshark 1.10.14 with the BLE sniffer, as there are also some issues with later 1.x versions of Wireshark.
