Hi Kato,

This warning can safely be ignored. It is to notify users that older toolchain versions are no longer supported and they should use v2.0.0 or later. All users get this warning, regardless of whether they have an old version installed. If you click "OK, do not show again" the warning will not show up again.

I noticed that my DK is not visible under connected devices in vs code , although it is identified in nRF Connect for desktop.. I don;t know if that has something to do with the latest extension update or something.

Anyway I placed the toolchain path (for the toolchain I use) in the environmental variables and I removed the"nrf-connect.toolchain\....\...." line from settings json file and the deprecated message in settings was gone. You could give it a try

There are no major problems with build and debugging in the current environment. (nRF9160)
I'm worried if the above warning will cause any problems.

Hi, one question , does your vscode identify the DK you are using ? are you able to see it under connected devices?
