Hi,

We do not officially support arch linux, but one of the main issues with running the plugin on different distros is indeed the environment, and how it is shared/set in vscode.

Try to open code from the terminal, in a environment where you have the setup working, ie.:

/usr/share/code/bin/code /path/to/ncs/

To resolve the issue you should make sure the required repositories are copied correctly and running "west update" in the SDK folder can help resolve these installation errors.

I have this package installed, but I can not get VS Code working unfortunately. I follow the steps but it just doesn't work. Can't I just point to the correct directories etc?

I can build with west / run west update from the directory of the excercises so everything is in place. Just the plugin can't find stuff or something.

Hi,

Hard to state exactly what is going wrong here, but it does seem that the "git clone" operation(s) that west is performing is failing/timing out.

Have you tried to go into the ../path/to/ncs-v2.9.1/nrf folder and run "west update" ?
