I recently tried some examples with nRF53 + nRF7002 (e.g. ble_coex example).
However, I am developing with nRF54 and I would like to understand if the combo nRF54 + nRF7002 is supported.

I tested the nRF54H20 kit with the nRF7002EK. For proper build I had to set a code snippet in the build configuration - after that the build went fine.

Thanks so much for the useful reference.

What about 54H? will it support coexistence?

Thanks much,

What makes this slightly more complex is that Wi-Fi involves multiple different features and not just one thing. Have a look at this overview for what features we currently have support for alongside the nRF54L. As you can see there, coex is not listed as one of them. So while this is something we might support HW-wise (ie. it being technically possible) it seems that the SW support is not there yet. Have you considered the nRF5340?

Another thing I feel forced to mention here is that I interpret nRF54 as nRF54L here, as opposed to the nRF54H.

Regards,

thanks much for your help.

I've seen the example, ant it involves, apparently, only the WiFi.

What I need to understand if whether the NRF54 can handle bluetooth and WiFi at the same time.

The application is a small, low bandwidth wifi/bluetooth bridge.

I see that the Coex sample happens to not list the nRF54 as a supported chip. Although not every supported SoC is typically listed there in the documentation, this might give some indication that maybe this exact sample has some memory requirements that the nRF54L15 doesn't handle. I however see that this sample lists nRF54L as supported.

Were you mainly curious about what was supported, or did you have a precise need for the nRF54L to support the coex sample?

Regards,
