&lt;p&gt;You can do the same with the external nRF9151 as the on-board nRF9151.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.segger.com/products/debug-probes/j-link/models/j-link-ob/"&gt;https://www.segger.com/products/debug-probes/j-link/models/j-link-ob/&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Be aware that the on-board j-link can not be used in production. Other than that you are free to use it during prototype development on your own hardware.&lt;/p&gt;
