We want to evaluate the Bluetooth: nRF Distance Measurement with Bluetooth LE discovery functionality. But we only have nRF5340 Audio DKs. Not ordinary nRF5340 DKs.
What is the easiest way of supporting nRF5340 Audio DK in the Bluetooth: nRF

RE: Running Bluetooth: nRF Distance Measurement with Bluetooth LE discovery on nRF5340 Audio DK

Got it, I will try this on supported DKs.

RE: Running Bluetooth: nRF Distance Measurement with Bluetooth LE discovery on nRF5340 Audio DK

Hi,

The easiest way to supporting Distance Measurement with Bluetooth LE discovery would be to use one of the already supported DKs. While the sample has not been tested for other boards, selecting other boards for the build configuration might also work, either out-of-the-box or with minor changes. Oftentimes using the correct board file is enough.

Depending on the capabilities of the board, such as e.g. number of LEDs, buttons, etc., some samples may require larger changes before they can be run, or the board may be missing features which means it cannot run the sample at all.

Also, for Distance Measurement, depending on the use case, Channel Sounding might be a better option. It is currently supported for the nRF54L15. See the Bluetooth: Channel Sounding Initiator with Ranging Requestor and the Bluetooth: Channel Sounding Reflector with Ranging Responder samples.

Regards,
Terje
