I would recommend that you remove the device from the computer's settings menu.

Another way to work around this is to change the BLE address. When doing this, the computer will no longer recognize the device as a known device, and it will not automatically try to connect to it.

the current implementation is working in the following way:

If during peer-erase procedure, mouse/keyboard finds a NEW Central (dongle or PC), then it will erase the old one, and connect&pair to the new one.
If this fails, or if it does not find a new peer, it will fall back to the previous one.--> I think this is what happening in your case.
