I want to perform some antenna measurements and compare the rf performance of my custom PCB with an nrf9160 SiP with the nrf9160 dk.
To perform some antenna measurements, we want the modem to transmit continuously at a specific frequency.
Thanks a lot for your reply. It works fine now. I was getting confused with the TX burst mode and continuous wave mode.

By sending the AT command "AT%XRFTEST=1,1,8,8800,23,1,4,6,0,0,0,0,0", I can see a continuous transmission on the spectrum analyzer.

Thanks and regards,
But even when I send the AT command to set it in continuous wave mode, I see on the spectrum analyzer that it is not transmitting continuously. Is there any other way to do this?
The 10th parameter indicates if you want TX bursts or not. Try setting this to '0':

https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ref_at_commands/page/REF/at_commands/production_test/xrftest_tx_set.html

The behaviour when TX burst is enabled is shared here:

https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ref_at_commands/page/REF/at_commands/production_test/xrftest_tx_burst.html#xrftest_tx_burst

And please note that you are emitting a tone in a licensed band, and should conduct radiated measurements in a shielded environment.

Kind regards,
