What SDK version are you using? CONFIG_NFCT_PINS_AS_GPIOS was replaced by the devicetree setting before we had support for the nRF54L15 (NCS 2.8.0).

Thanks for the response. For P1.03 adding

CONFIG_NFCT_PINS_AS_GPIOS=y

in proj.conf file worked.

And P2.06, I wanted to configure it as an interrupt pin, but interrupt support is not available on P2 pins when they are configured as general-purpose GPIO as mentioned in the following blog post.

On the nRF54L15 DK P1.03 is by default used for NFCT, but should be configurable with the snippet I mentioned in .dts or .overlay file. However, on the DK you also need to disconnect R21 and R22 d short R33 and R34 with a 0 Ohm resistor.

As for P2.06, that should work as a normal GPIO as long as you don't use the TRACE pins, since this is dedicated to be the TRACE CLK pin, but by default should be connected to the P2 pin and work as a normal GPIO. How does it behave on your end?

P1.06 as well as P1.04, P1.05 and P1.07 are all used as the UART interface to the debugger on the nRF54L15 DK and can't be used by other peripherals by default. Note that you will lose logging if you remove these, but you can by disabling uart20 in your .overlay file and set these pins as you'd like there.

For reference, on the backside of the nRF54L15 DK you have a silkscreen with an overview of what pins are used for other things by default. Which GPIOs are available on the DK is somewhat restricted I'm afraid. But it's possible to configure most of them.

P1.02 and P1.03 on the nRF54L15 are by default configured as NFC pins on the nRF54L15. To use these as normal GPIOs you need to set that in your project's .dts or .overlay file:
