&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the help, I noticed the C/C++ command recommendations did not appear when i typed C/C++ into the command pallet. I&amp;#39;ve since reinstalled the extension and ran both commands, with success. All is working.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Could you try to Ctrl+Shift+P and then&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;C/C++: Reset IntelliSense Database&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After that, again, Ctrl+Shift+P and then&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;C/C++: Rescan Workspace&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After this, does Intellisense work?&lt;/p&gt;
