Hi Efving,

I have found the answer to my question.

1. BAS

We should tell the testing agency to use the bas v1.1 configuration file for testing, because v1.0 may not support notify. I haven't studied this protocol further, but I guess this is the case because our version with notify has been certified.

2. HID

We should tell the testing agency to use the HIDs v1.0 profile for testing, because Zephyr does not currently support HIDs v1.1.

Hi，

We did not change the hid. You can also check it in the code attached to my file. If you have any doubts, we can also use nrf54l15dk + nrf\samples\bluetooth\peripheral_hids_keyboard to verify it in the lab.

Well to be clear I think the way to solve it would be to include notify.

I see now that the HID test you show has issues reading an attribute. HID also have some mandatory characteristics. Did you change much in the HID code? You should leave the mandatory characteristics there.

We have two problems with BQB certification. I think the bas problem can be solved by turning off notify. I don’t know how to solve the hid problem. This is not a new problem. I have already raised it at the beginning.

From testing you mean? If it is to a large degree related to this issue you can also discuss it here. Otherwise we'll be happy to help you, but maybe you making another case for it would be preferable 🙂 In either case, uploading your code is rarely necessary.

For that then adding all the necessary features for HID would be the way to go about it. Have a look at the sample below on how BAS should be set up, or simply try it without removing notify.

I believe this is because the battery level characteristic requires you to have notify as well. Both read and notify is mandatory.

Though another thing to note is that if you want to remove bas_notify(); you should also remove that from what you advertise of the characteristic.

Is there any particular reason why you don't want to include notify?

Have a look at this sample for more on how BAS should be set up.
