&lt;p&gt;I think SMS queued during PSM and sending when the device is active needs to be supported by the network, else the SMS can be lost (it seems) Or maybe the message gets expired on the network which is different for different networks.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would ask China Mobile NB-IoT technical guys to see if SMS queue in PSM is supported and find out what their SMS expiry timeouts are in their network. I would also&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1, Tested at NCS 2.7. For both mdmfw 1.2.5 and mdmfw 1.3.5,&amp;nbsp; it shows same results.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2, Similarly, while no edrx/ no psm, if SMS was sent druing cfun=0, we still could not receive SMS druing cfun=1. However, if we sent one more SMS druing cfun=1, then we can receive all previously missed SMSs. Please refer to below&lt;/p&gt;
