Hello again, my apologies, I misread your question and though the playback was through the mono jack output.

The PDM mic is mono in, the jack input is stereo, the jack output is mono.

If you are recording the audio, assuming this is recorded through USB i.e. stored on computer? In that case we only send to one channel, but they could change this: https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/231e2c2c76942c38274df4c0c60cf84ed75dbbab/applications/nrf5340_audio/src/audio/sw_codec_select.c#L250 to use https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/5099db677ac2b126559e89e010db7468fa082b22/lib/pcm_stream_channel_modifier/pcm_stream_channel_modifier.c#L91 instead, you will get the same audio on both channels.

It is not possible to get the audio from the PDM microphone in both the left and right channels. I mean, when using one board as the gateway and the other as the headset, the audio plays on both side (left and right)

The nRF5340 Audio DK supports mono analog output only. It is designed to have one gateway and two headset, where the one headset er configured as right channel and the other headset as left channel.
