&lt;li&gt;it is not possible for customers to overwrite OTP.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;OTP just sets the default value of this register, that&amp;#39;s what the last sentence is about - default value from the OTP will be used rather than the reset value of 0x00. Only values listed here can be used to set the limit in the software.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You can use&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;VBUSINILIM0 + TASKUPDATEILIMSW, which is made to limit the current taken to VBUS.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
