Hi Om Agrawal,

I am not sure what kind of naming convention you are worrying about, but you should not have to overlay the DeviceTree at all. As long as P0.21 is set to high, the I2S pin will be routed to P10 by on-board switches.

Hi,

I have already completed the initialization step where P0.21 is set high to enable the P10 header, but I still don’t see any output on the I2S pins.

Could you please help me understand how to initialize the pins for the P10 header in the board's overlay file? For the P5 header, I know the naming convention (for example, to use the MCLK pin, I refer to it as P0.12). What is the correct naming convention for using the I2S pins on the P10 header?

Hello Om Agrawal,

You will need to set P0.21 high to use P10, referring to the Pin maps documentation.

What project are you using as a base? Or are you starting from the ground up?

If you are using the nRF5340 Audio application as a base, please remember to remove all initialization and usage of the onboard codec as well.
