&lt;p&gt;I suspect that this is a phone caching issue. If you connect using a phone that has not been connected to this device before, do you still see two instances? Or try to connect to it using &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Connect-for-Desktop"&gt;nRF Connect for Desktop&lt;/a&gt; -&amp;gt; Bluetooth Low Energy (requires an extra DK), do you still see two instances of that service?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you do, can you please try to capture a sniffer trace of the devices connecting, so that I can have a look at the service discovery?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you don&amp;#39;t have access to another phone or another DK, can you please upload the application that you are using here in this ticket, then I can see if I see the same if I flash it to an nRF52840 DK?&lt;/p&gt;
