&lt;p&gt;If you don&amp;#39;t have the cut-out beneath the RF trace in the inner layers found in the &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/nRF54L15/Reference-layout?lang=en#infotabs"&gt;reference layout&lt;/a&gt;, and instead use the second layer as the ground reference layer, the best is probably to connect the C9 grounding to the second layer too. However, if you&amp;#39;re able to, it is recommended to include the cut-out.&lt;/p&gt;
