The most likely reason the Fast Pair connection popup isn't appearing on your Android 16 device is due to the device not being registered with Google's Fast Pair service. Even with "Show debug results" enabled, debug Model IDs require registration for the feature to function.

Hello. Yes, I am using that exact sample. So the registration is via the Find My Device Proposal Form provided by Google?

Which sample are you testing? If you are using the Bluetooth Fast Pair Locator tag sample, you must register your Google email address to enable the feature on the phone.

Hi Amanda! First of all thanks for the support. I am aware of that part, but right now I am not in the FMDN testing phase, I just want to test the Fast Pairing part, is it also necessary to have your email approved by Google for this feature?

Hi,

It's required to register your development email account by completing Google’s device proposal form to enable the FMDN feature on your phone, as the testing notes. Even if you are using the Nordic debug default keys for the sample devices, you still need to fill out the form. This is Google's policy.
