Hi Amanda, thanks for the pointer!

I tried enabling CONFIG_BT_CTLR_SDC_CS_STEP_MODE3=y in prj.conf, but unfortunately I’m still seeing the same error when attempting to use BT_CONN_LE_CS_MAIN_MODE_3:

W: opcode 0x2090 status 0x12
E: Failed to create CS config (err -22)

I'm using the nRF54L15 DK with the latest NCS version. The same configuration works perfectly when I use MAIN_MODE_2, so it seems like Mode 3 is still not being accepted even after setting the config.

Is there anything else I need to enable (perhaps controller capabilities or PHY-related constraints)?

Hi,

It needs to set BT_CTLR_SDC_CS_STEP_MODE3 to y to enable Channel Sounding step mode-3 support.
