&lt;p&gt;Please have look at discussion and the sample I posted in this thread:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/120215/sample-ble-beacon-app-for-measuring-energy-consumption"&gt;sample BLE beacon app for measuring energy consumption&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Selecting&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;CONFIG_PM_DEVICE in your project configuration enables you to use the pm_device_* APIs for power management but does not do anything by itself. In the sample I uploaded I used it to&amp;nbsp;disable the uart after using it to print the console output:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
