&lt;p&gt;I also recommend that you go through the &lt;a href="https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/nrf-connect-sdk-intermediate/lessons/lesson-9-bootloaders-and-dfu-fota/"&gt;theory part&lt;/a&gt; of Lesson 9 and refer to the documentation I linked to in my previous reply as well.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We have a Thread RCP sample available in nRF Connect SDK which you can read more about &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/samples/openthread/coprocessor/README.html"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The sample does not support DFU by default. You can read more about our DFU offerings &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/app_dev/bootloaders_dfu/index.html"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
