&lt;p&gt;The issue happens after adding FOTA-related settings&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;to the ble_coex example, error&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;quot;Pmic device not ready&amp;#39;&amp;#39;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;indicates that the system stops working (presumably, the PMIC is not detected, or the application does not run as expected).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Most probably it is related to the size of application or netcore image,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If your application and netcore images are too large, even with external flash, the build may fail, or the device may not boot. You may check the partition manager output to ensure if all slot fits by the following command&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;west build -t partition_manager_report&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
