We are using nRF7002 with RT555 in our product. We use zephyr 4.0.0 in our firmware.
we would like to know the if we can get the following info regarding nRF7002 usage for one of our customers.
We see that basic roaming is supported in nRF7002

RE: nRF7002 Roaming configurations and SNR level

Please contact your RSM for the feature request. If you don't have the RSM's information, please fill in the Sales related questions form.

RE: nRF7002 Roaming configurations and SNR level

Thanks Amanda,
Can you provide some info similar to this available for BLE and SNR?
Typical SNR of BT LE

Yes.
Can you also respond about SNR and noise level on nRF7002? Our customers are interested to know about these too.
It's already shared in my previous reply, both shell command and the API (we expose only RSSI no the SNR).

RE: nRF7002 Roaming configurations and SNR level

Thanks Amanda,
So user have to implement their own logic and algorithm for roaming.
Can you also respond about SNR and noise level on nRF7002?

Roaming
as a function currently needs to be achieved at the application level. The wi-fi driver will notify the disconnect event to the application which then needs to initiate a new connection to an appropriate AP from its
allowed
list. Wi-Fi connection details (including RSSI) can be queried by the application, and this is implemented in the Wi-Fi shell via the
wifi status
command.

The API for Wi-Fi status query - https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/blob/main/include/zephyr/net/wifi_mgmt.h#L181
