I think this answers enough of my original question, the reported bitrates are in kbps, but the values cannot be trusted in general, only on certain networks.

Hi,

Here's with Telia in Norway:

+CGEQOSRDP: 0,9,,,256000,150000

I get the same as you if I roam to telia (MCC MNC: 242 02), but if I connect to Telenor (MCCMNC: 242 01), I get the expected PHY speeds for LTE-M, ie. 2/1 MBit. I would check with your network provider on this topic.

MCC 505 MNC 01 is Telstra, the primary carrier in Australia

Hi,

It looks like the network is giving you the LTE 4G theoretical max. of 300 Mbit?

Here's what I get in my network (LTE-M):

+CGEQOSRDP: 0,9,,,2048,1024

Which mfw version are you testing with?
