Update... I have the UART working now, so I can pull RTT and debugging out of the equation. I am testing only with the 9151DK right now and do not see the problem in about 10 test runs with the sample "as-is".

I understand the variables to adjust: debugging and overlays. You can either close the ticket and I can re-open if I have a more reproduceable pattern. Or leave it open for 7-10 days. I will get back to it, but it will be at least the end of the week.

Alright, I understand.

To narrow this down further, could you clarify the following:

Is it true that this issue occurs on both your custom board and the nRF9151DK?
Does the issue occur when you build without debugging options?
Are you able to run the HTTPS client sample as-is, without any overlay files?

I have another ticket open regarding that issue. Triple checked my Kconfig. Nordic samples won’t output either.

Have you sure you've enabled UART logging correctly with Kconfig? I recommend comparing with a sample to check if you have enabled the right symbols.

The nRF9151 DK modem is flashed with v2.0.2 firmware.

I am trying to replicate the environment without RTT logging. I have not had much luck getting UART using either the nRF Connect for Desktop terminal or the nRF terminal in VS Code. I can "connect" with either terminal, but after flashing I don't get any output. I will keep trying.

Hi Greg,
I don't see what the cause of this is immediately.

Do you get the same fault if you try to log over UART instead and remove the RTT overlay?

What modem FW are you using?
