&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quiescent current on VBUS is not the same as on VBAT. When powered from VBUS with no load and the charger idle, the current is about 1.8 mA. If VBUS suspend mode is not enabled, it increases to around 2.5 mA (&lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ps_npm1300/page/vbusin.html#ariaid-title7"&gt;see Isusp in the documentation&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;/p&gt;
