It sits somewhere in between them. The release notes specify which Zephyr commit was used, but that commit doesn’t correspond to any particular version.<br /><br /></span><strong>Example:</strong><br />In the <a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/releases_and_maturity/releases/release-notes-3.1.0.html#zephyr">NCS 3.1.0 release notes</a>&nbsp;you can see that&nbsp;the Zephyr for contains&nbsp;all commits from the upstream Zephyr repository up to and including <code>0fe59bf1e4b96122c3467295b09a034e399c5ee6</code>.<br /><br />Best regards,<br />Benjamin</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
