Based on your guidance, we used the following commands:

After applying these commands, the SIM interface was correctly selected, and now the eSIM is working properly.

The issue has been resolved.

Based on the log file it looks like SoftSIM is selected to be used (IUICC_PROXY traces). For eSIM the selection should be SIM slot 0.

Use the command “AT%CSUS=0” to make sure that correct SIM interface is selected, and “AT+CFUN=0“ after that to make sure that it is stored to flash memory. Otherwise the old setting may be restored after power on reset.

We have already run all the AT commands, but the SIM is still not powering on. Please find attached the modem trace file and an additional log text file for your reference.

We tested 3–4 eSIMs on the nRF9151 DK board, but none of them are working. However, when we tested with another nRF9151 DK board, both the eSIM and physical SIM worked properly, and all AT commands responded correctly. That board also provided 1.8V to the SIM.

We are not sure why the SIM is not working on our first DK board. Could you please check the attached files and advise us on the next steps?

This issue is very urgent, as we are currently in the middle of testing. Your quick response will be highly appreciated.

Have you run AT+CFUN=1 or similar to make sure the SIM is powered? Also, if you want any further help, please provide a modem trace as I asked a few times now. If you are unsure how to do it, please refer to the tutorial here.

We are using the nRF9151 DK board for testing. Kindly check the attached video and AT command log screenshot for your reference.

During testing, we observed that neither the eSIM nor the physical SIM is working, and no 1.8V is present on the SIM interface. We also tried several AT commands, but they all failed with errors.

Could you please review the attached materials and advise us on how to resolve this issue?

We need to check the modem trace to know what causes the error. So please do as I said and provide modem trace and application log.

Also, when you say nRF9151 board, do you mean DK or custom board?

Hello,

We are testing after desoldering the eSIM and following the same steps, but neither the eSIM nor the physical SIM is working. We are not able to measure 1.8V on the SIM interface.

Hello,

I am working with an nRF9151 board and trying to read SIM/eSIM information.

Steps followed:

Used nRF Programmer → Erased all
Opened Board Configuration → selected eSIM and 3V3
Flashed quick start program
Sent CLI commands:

AT OK AT+CPIN? <response> AT%XICCID <response>
With the onboard eSIM, I can successfully retrieve the ICCID for st4 esim .

Issue:
When I attach another eSIM twilio , I get the following errors:

Could you please clarify what +CME ERROR: 13 means in this context and provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?
