Hi Rahul,

The device must have at least one ICD client registered to be able to switch to LIT. In this case, the chip tool must be registered as an ICD client. This is done during commissioning by adding this to the pairing command:

--icd-registration true

So, the pairing command would be like this:

$ ./chip-tool pairing ble-thread <node_id> hex:<operational_dataset> <pin_code> <discriminator> --icd-registration true

Thank you for the quick response.

Initially, I did not add these two configurations in the prj.conf file because I was using the Smoke/CO sample example. I have now added them, but the issue remains — the ICD mode is still stuck in SIT and does not switch to LIT.

Do you also have these configurations in prj.conf?

CONFIG_CHIP_ENABLE_ICD_SUPPORT=y
CONFIG_CHIP_ICD_LIT_SUPPORT=y

Does the device have at least one client registered?
