Hello Akbar,

I see you are using nRF Cloud Utils, one of the scripts is the device_credential_installer script. If you add as a parameter "-h" when calling the script you can have more information about the options it offer.

I didnt get you there, can you please specify where and how should i add the subtype?? also is it due to the subtype my device onboarding to the nrfcloud is unknown??

Hello Akbar,

When using device_credential_installer script use "--subtype MY_CUSTOM_SUBTYPE" where MY_CUSTOM_SUBTYPE is whatever string you would like to add.
