Some of the switches are not intuitive.

Yes SW6 can be a problem. I had it correct.

SW10 can be a problem if not set off. I had it correct.

the nRF power source was my root problem. It should be set it in the middle for VDD. The default on a new board is to the left.

Perhaps a readme would help on the switches.

After power on, the MCU LED started blinking for sometime. This was confusing. After waiting some time. I assumed it was downloading the OB link. Then the MCU LED stayed solid and the device for jlink appeared in the device manager and I was able to download the samples and on my way.

Got to love the support though. Thank you.

RE: Quick Start with newly purchased NRF5340 DK

Hi David,

Could you provide me with a few details?

Which is your nRF5340 DK version? You can find this on the white label on top of the DK.
Using nrf connect SDK version 5.2 latest.
Which is the SDK version? The latest are the 3.x.x versions.

Did you try flashing any sample on the DK first?
