https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Util/Download#infotabs Download for Linux was updated to 8.0.0 at the time. Now 8.1.1 is available.

the download lastes version on nordic main site targets older version for macosx so its not working correctly

Actually, I was able to download nrfutil 8.0.0 and the command line installation commands work. So it is working now. Thanks.

I tried to run "nrfutil self-upgrade" but it also failed with the 404 response:

$ nrfutil self-upgrade
Uninstalled nrfutil
Error: Failed to install nrfutil

Caused by:
0: Could not download package
1: failed to download from `developer.nordicsemi.com/.../nrfutil-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-7.11.1.tar.gz`
2: failed to get 200 response from `developer.nordicsemi.com/.../nrfutil-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-7.11.1.tar.gz`, got 404

Hi,

Currently using NCS v2.5.0 and installing it in a container, so using the command line instructions.

I was following: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-2.6.0/page/nrf/installation/install_ncs.html
Is "nrfutil install toolchain-manager" no longer supported?

I also tried "nrfutil install sdk-manager" but it's not available with the latest nrfutil 7.6.0 (https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Util).

If the command line instructions are no longer supported, I can try VSCode's CLI.

Hi,

Are you trying to install the newer SDK and Toolchains? (v3.x.x)

If so, you can do them from VSCode directly and you do not need the Toolchain Manager via the app.

Please make sure that you have the latest version of nrfutil installed:

nrfutil --version

nrfutil self-upgrade

After that you can install the SDK and Toolchains via the VSCode extension.
