&lt;p&gt;This is actually possible.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you open a command line terminal (with the toolchain active), you can enter the v3.0.0\nrf folder, and run the command: &amp;quot;west zephyr-export&amp;quot;. After this has completed, you need to restart VS Code, or at least reload the plugins by hitting ctrl + shift + p, and use the command &amp;quot;Reload Window&amp;quot;. After this, the v3.0.0 SDK should be detected by the plugin.&lt;/p&gt;
