You mentioned that the signal quality some times drops. Perhaps we can figure out more what is going on with a modem trace.

I tested with the server’s IP address instead of the hostname, but it still doesn’t work. What could be the reason?

Hello,

have you tried using IP addresses instead of hostname? That can rule out DNS issues.
