Hello,

Thank you for the clarification.

Just to make sure we are on the same page — our request concerns the MQTT communication between nRF Cloud and our backend infrastructure, rather than between individual devices and nRF Cloud.

Specifically, we are mostly interested in having the Retain flag enabled for data and alert messages, not for configuration-related topics.

Hi,

Unfortunately we don't support retain flag or QoS on MQTT messages. I suggest you would instead take a look at Device Shadow option. It works universally with both MQTT and CoAP protocols.
