Our team has been working on a customized firmware solution that has been flashed onto the nRF52840 Dongle to meet specific requirements.
Usually, DK is not meant for resale, can someone please tell me if it applies for Dongle as well

RE: Reselling nRF52840 Dongle with our own firmware

You will need to do those and you should also check if the Nordic CE certification will be accepted for use with your product. We can't guarantee it is it will be used in a different way than when Nordic certified it. Your certification partner should be able to answer that.

RE: Reselling nRF52840 Dongle with our own firmware

Could you please let us know what are the steps that we need to undergo in order to use the dongle in our final product.

As of my understanding they are
- FCC Certification

- Bluetooth SIG Verification

That's it right, or should we need to undergo anything more?

RE: Reselling nRF52840 Dongle with our own firmware

You can use the Dongle as part of a final product, Nordic licensing allows that.

The Dongle is not FCC certified so that will have to be done by you if you want to sell into markets requiring this. For the CE certification I would check with your preferred lab if the Nordic certification is enough or if you will have to do your own.
