Okay, I was finally able to connect my device to nRF cloud. Personally I feel like there is almost too much documentation out there for "getting started" with these kits. There are multiple entry points, examples, and documents some of which are out of date and others that contradict each other. The winning combination for me was flashing the Asset Tracker (Asset Tracker Template not the Legacy Asset Tracker or Asset Tracker V2) then following this Getting Started Guide for the Asset Tracker Template Sample which then led me to this Manual Provisioning tutorial (which was updated today btw, so things are clearly in flux).

Was hoping for a slightly smoother introduction to cellular, but we made it there eventually. Hopefully this is useful to someone getting started and I hope the documentation gets cleaned and pared down a bit.

I am walking through the Cellular IoT Fundamentals lesson in DevAcademy as well which is basically what I have been doing but slightly different. I am running into the same issue... NRF Cloud will not allow me to "Add Device" like all the tutorials suggest. I am getting an error message that reads "There was an error adding your device: No device found for this id. The device has not yet been just-in-time provisioned." This seems to stop me in my tracks, and the device never connects and it seems impossible to JITP provision it manually or I have not found the tutorial on this. I am using the nrf onboarding page as a reference here. It seems like maybe I don't want JITP provisioning. Basically I am looking for the tutorial to get my nrf9151 connected to nrf cloud using some examples because mine has not worked out of the box as suggested by the sparse quick starts.

Just as a recap I have tried a variety of example applications (Asset Tracker Template, Asset Tracker V2, Modem Shell) combined with a variety of quick starts (nrf connect for desktop quick start, Dev Academy lesson, nrf cloud docs) and cannot seems to make something work. Again, any help would be greatly apprecaited.
