1. The throughput example uses the GATT throughput service, so if you plan on using the sample on one end, the other device (DUT) also needs to support the GATT throughput service, if it doesn't that isn't the best idea to do throughput tests.

2.You would need to add the GATT throughput service to your project if you want to use the throughput sample.

3. It's also worth noting that we recently released a few other ways to do BLE testing released with the nRF54L express course. It should also work for the nRF5340, but you need to have the Nordic UART service, and advertise very specific data.
