If your goal is to track your progress, you can either fork the repository or just create a new one. Either works fine!

Sorry I'm confused, I've cloned the bt-fund repository, created my branch.

Now I want to push my branch:

git push --set-upstream origin b_ismailov/playground

Shouldn't this be possible?

When you clone a repository, you also get the hidden .git folder, which contains all the Git metadata, including branches and history. If you only want the project files for your own repository, just delete the .git folder after cloning.

I don't want to push to the repo, I've cloned the repo and I just want to push to my branch.

Hi Botir,
You don't have permission to push to that repo. You need to clone the repo or simply download it from GitHub.
