- NCS version: 2.9.0

Solution (I think) was to add Kconfig file. that is where AZURE_IOT_HUB_SAMPLE_DEVICE_ID_USE_HW_ID is defined.

Hi,

Which board and NCS version do you use?

Do you use Azure IoT Hub sample?

Please note that when using hardware identifier as registration ID, it needs to match CN in the certificate of the device.
