Thanks for the hint.

I tried the very first block of rm commands:

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Code
rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.VSCode
rm -rf ~/Library/Saved\Application\ State/com.microsoft.VSCode.savedState
rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.VSCode.plist
rm -rf ~/.vscode

And it then reinstalled the nRF extension fo VS Code extension and it now appears in the side bar.

I think this solved the issue.

In case I encounter quite the same issue, I will try to execute all the commands of the ticket you suggested.

Yes, then you could try a clean installation from scratch.

These commands are uninstalling the tools and cleaning all. Right ?

What should I do after ? reinstall as if it had never been installed ?
