The RAM address is not the problem. Do you still get the problem if you erase the whole chip, program SoftDevice and then program the application from Keil? You are sure you are flashing the correct board (try to only have PCA10040 connected)?

Hi Ole Bauck I have a similar issue: trying to load an example of the SDK 11 (ble_app_uart_c_s132_pc) into a NRF52832 (PCA10040) using SoftDevice 132 v2.0.0. I get the same message - Error: Flash Download failed - "Cortex-M4". I already checked the IROM address: it starts at 0x1C000 with size 0x64000. Could be an issue due to the IRAM address? What else I could try? Thanks for the help!

Are you using SDK 11 or SDK 11 alpha? If you are using SDK 11 you need to use SoftDevice S132 v2.0.0 and change to IROM start at 0x1c000.

Hey, Thanks for you help, I tried two options for IROM start:

0x00 w.size of 0x80000
0x1b000 w.size of 0x65000 None of them worked... I'm trying to program the example project that comes with the SDK - 'ble_app_hrs_s132_with_dfu_pca10040'

What can it be if not that?

Error: Flash Download failed - "Cortex-M4" happens if you try to program the application in the area where the SoftDevice is. What custom application do you try to program? What are the IROM start address?
