The spec requires the Message Reliability Protocol on all unicast secure sessions over UDP . MRP is not used for groupcast, and it would be bypassed only on a reliable transport like TCP, which isn’t what Thread uses.&nbsp;</span></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
