I would like to repurpose nRFready Smart Remote 3 for nRF52 reference design to use it with the nRF54L15 DK to run BLe channel sounding experiments over this Christmas holidays. from the nordic website I can see that nRF54L15 has Channel sounding

RE: nRFready Smart Remote 3 for nRF54L15

one thing I would like to add: we have had customers who used the nRF Desktop application to implement a Smart Remote. Mapping and assigning funcionts to keys is very easy in nRF Dekstop. You can add easily audio MIC, port the codec from old sdk to this application. And since the nRF Desktop uses the sensor API from zephyr to feed the HID module, then you can also use a gyro and keeping same API and implement an Air Mouse

RE: nRFready Smart Remote 3 for nRF54L15

Most likely there will be changes that you need to make to the reference design using nRF52 to make it work with nRF54L as they are not pin compatible and have different requirements both with power and antenna. We do not know what changes you need as we have not yet evaluated them especially for channel sounding use case. If you need more information on this, I would recommend you to contact your RSM.
