 Just to note any versions that need saying, I am using 
 
 SD 110, V8 
 The 10.0 SDK, freshly unzipped 
 The dual bank BLE bootloader, unmodified 
 Arm GCC 4.9.3 and Eclipse 
 nrfutil version 0.2.1

&lt;p&gt;Just wanted to follow up on additional testing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Keil DFU built and installed&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Prebuilt zip installed, works.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Keil-built and packaged application
zip package works.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;GCC-built and packaged application
zip works flashing over the
keil-built application (the first
time).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;p&gt;GCC-built and packaged application
zip fails (the second time).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since the bootloader code hasn&amp;#39;t changed, it looks like whatever method the DFU app service uses to jump to the bootloader is broken in the GCC builds.&lt;/p&gt;

If you are flexible in IDE choice, then can you try to build your project in Keil? In my case it&amp;#39;s totally working fine with same kind of configuration on Keil tool. You can use below tutorial link for reference.
