&lt;p&gt;Going with Option B is definitely the recommended path compare to option A of using pc-ble-driver.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;pc-ble-driver tool has not been updated since 2019 as far as I know.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You can either make your own BLE - UART/USB protocol to control the chip from PC or you can use the already made BLE Shell library.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;You can take a look here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
