Thanks. I installed the latest "v14 (for Visual Studio 2017–2026)", and now Wireshark recognises the nRF Sniffer interface.

Hi Jasper,

Yes I think you should try to fix the VDRUNTIM140 issue. Have you tried to reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package ?

If that doesn't help, please check if the dongle has the correct firmware, if you open Serial Terminal app in nRF Connect for desktop you should see it in the drop down menu:

If you open the port you should the the LED start to blink (if there is BLE advertising packet).

When launching WireShark, I get the following error pop-up related to missing VCRUNTIM140.dll raised by nrfutil.exe

Is this problem related and how should I fix it?
