&lt;p&gt;Yes, you can use a Tcxo instead of the crystal, &lt;span&gt;but not if it&amp;#39;s a &amp;quot;programmable&amp;quot; oscillator i.e PLL based, since those have too much phase noise. So make sure that your txco is not PLL-based (programmable).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
